Liv (Olivia) Boeree was born in 1984 in Kent, UK. After graduating in Physics with Astrophysics at the University of Manchester, Liv moved to London at the age of 21 to pursue a career in modelling and TV presenting. Whilst living in London, Liv applied for a reality TV show that was advertised with a prize of £100,000, she was picked as one of the 5 contestants for the show Showdown. During the course of the show the contestants received poker coaching from some of the best in the business, Phil Hellmuth, Annie Duke and Dave ‘Devilfish’ Ulliott. After the show Liv carried on playing poker regularly and also became a reporter/presenter covering Poker events such as The WSOP in Las Vegas and the EPT.

In 2008 she won the Ladbrokes European Ladies Championships winning $30,000. She went on to become the third woman to ever win an EPT title in 2010 at the European Poker Tour in San Remo with a prize of €1,250,000.

Liv has been a key member of Team PokerStars Pro since 2010 and she has since had continued success on the EPT circuit. Her total tournament winnings exceed $2,200,000!
